Acceleration plan | Statement and report on the National Approach to digital and open educational resources
How can higher education institutions develop a more efficient and accessible system for digital and open educational resources that puts them in control? To answer that question, the Accelerating together zone and the Towards digital (open) educational resources zone have worked together in recent years to develop a national approach to digital and open educational resources.
This has resulted in the National Approach to Digital and Open Learning Resources Statement, signed by the Association of Universities of Applied Sciences, the Universities of the Netherlands, and SURF. In the Statement, the Dutch higher education institutions agree to work together to create, share, reuse, and purchase educational resources.
Do you want to know how the higher education institutions will approach and give shape to this collaboration? Download the National Approach to Digital and Open Educational Resources below. The approach explains the steps institutions can take to take control of educational resources, why this is important, and how it can also be facilitated at the administrative level.
Would you like to know how the Statement came about? Read this interview with Huib de Jong and Theo Bastiaens about the importance of a national approach to this theme.
