The Accelerating Together Zone consists of 17 administrators from universities of applied sciences and research universities. Within this team, the administrators discuss the digital transformation within higher education, with a particular focus on the themes highlighted in the Acceleration Plan.
The zone was led by Elisabeth Minnemann en Theo Bastiaens.
The initiatives of the Acceleration Plan contributed to the transition of Dutch higher education to a higher education that seizes the opportunities of digitisation. This transition required dialogue between administrators, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, NVAO, NWO, KNAW, NRO and other stakeholders in Dutch higher education. That is what the “Accelerating Together” zone was intended for. The team consisted of seventeen administrators from universities of applied sciences and universities.
