Then you now have a chance to win a year of free courses via DataCamp! The zone Secure and reliable use of education data is giving away 10 licences. These licences are part of a pilot project to offer DataCamp nationwide in the future. Fill in the form and sign up!

At DataCamp you can choose from 355 different online courses in the field of data science. For example:

• Courses on a particular technology such as R, Python, SQL, Tableau or several others
• Courses about a  specific subject, wpml_nbspsuch as  visualisation, machine learning, statistics or data engineering
• Or choose a skill track, such as ‘Data skills for business’ or ‘data literacy fundamentals’

The courses consist of self-study modules where you get to work interactively (without the need for software on your own computer).

Who is DataCamp interesting for?

The offer of DataCamp is interesting for everyone who wants to develop themselves in state-of-the-art data science techniques, such as:

• Policy officers  who are concerned with the study data of an institution (Institutional research or business intelligence teams)
• Researchers  who (want to) use education data for educational research
• Lecturers  interested in learning analytics
• Quality assurance professionals  who want to use education data to improve their own education.
• But also for example  education support workers  and  student supervisors  with an interest in this subject

What you need to do

What do you have to do to possibly get a licence? And what are the conditions for using such a licence?

• The condition is that you are currently working within a higher education institution
• Fill in the form and add a short motivation why you want to receive a licence (max. 200 words)
• In the autumn of 2021, you attend a one-off meeting at which you and other licence users share your experiences with the Study Data zone
• At the end of the term you write a brief evaluation about your experience with DataCamp and how you have been able to apply the knowledge you have acquired

The zone can share your experiences anonymously for promotion on the websites doe-meer-met-studiedata.nl and versnellingsplan.nl.
